CLOUDS live (Channel Zero, Deep Medi, Ramp, Jahtari)
We like having these small pieces of sound. It can be drum sounds or pieces of melodies sampled from some audio sources like records or youtube or whatever or the sound of whales fucking for example. Then we put these sounds together somehow usually using some kind of electronic equipment, some old modems for example allows us to do this pretty nicely. And this way we can make our own songs out of those sounds.
Clouds is and has been since 2006 a duo of Samuli Tanner & Tommi Liikka from Helsinki. Some music of Clouds has been released on such labels as Deep Medi, Ramp, Channel Zero and Jahtari.” Newest album ‘Old Space’ can be downloaded from channelzero.bandcamp.com.
